Ability to adapt to driving on country roads, using observation and taking into account narrow roads and bends.

· Consideration for pedestrians on roads with no pavements

· Horse riders

· Sharp bends

· Use of horn

· Slow moving vehicles

· Livestock and wild animals

 

The third module looks at the difference in driving on country roads and outside of town.

 

We will investigate the main differences between town and country driving covering bends, hills, dead ground etc.

 

We will look at the different types of things to expect whilst driving in the country, from mud to tractors and horses to sheep!

 

We will also look at safe overtaking and use of passing places.
